Garlic Free Genovese Pesto
Sunflower seed oil, PDO Genovese Basil 20%, margarine [vegetable fats in varying proportions(palm, coconut, palm kernel), vegetable oil (sunflower),water, emulsifiers: mono and diglycerides of fatty acids, acidity regulator: citric acid], whey, cashews, PDO Grana Padano (milk, salt, rennet, preservative: egg protein lysozime), salt, pine nuts, seasoning, antioxidants: ascorbic acid, preservative: sorbic acid.
May contain traces of nuts, celery and fish.
While it is still cold, pour the pesto into a mixing bowl, add a tablespoon of the boiling water and mix it together with the cooked and drained pasta. Before serving, you can garnish with some fresh basil leaves and pine nuts.
The quantity of pesto in 100 g package is the perfect seasoning for 160 g (2 servings) of dry pasta, instead the quantity of pesto in 1000g package is the perfect seasoning for 1,3 kg (16 servings) of dry pasta.
